The earth, the soil, and metals.

The tree bark fascinates me with its diverse textures and colors. Some trees had smooth and velvety bark, inviting exploration with their satin-like surfaces, while others displayed rough and rugged bark, telling stories of strength and endurance through their deeply furrowed textures. The colors varied too, from the silvery shimmer of the birch to the reddish-brown hues of the maple and cherry. The bark was like nature's artistry, representing the resilience and character of the trees, and I found myself lost in imaginative worlds, attributing personalities and stories to each unique tree I encountered.
